No issues with this UNLESS Jetblue finally spends the money and delivers on a FLiCA like system that actually prevents the bots. I will argue the VDA system doesn’t negatively affect the average pilot in the same manner as bot concept.

Total time from type rating to completion of IOE on 220… 4 months. 80 hours a month. Line awarded in Feb which was over training guarantee that they had to pay out. Those trips were all over weekends leaving my days off during the week. CKAs are senior dudes that don’t like weekends. So aligning IOE with CKAs schedule meant they needed my days off. That paid150%.
Or, I could have said no, had the same problem in March and run this thing out prob another 6 weeks. There’s lots of us in this situation. Getting paid to sit. I didn’t need a fed ride but that’s a backlog as well.

Yeah, for real this airline LOVES paying people to sit and do nothing. Ask all the E190 captains they extended a full year to do nothing but sit long call, never get called, and rake it money. My transition took 5+ months too.

Honestly, one of the more clueless things I’ve ever read on this forum.

I’m approaching four months waiting on OE, with zero communication from company. At this point they aren’t even fully utilizing their resources, so it seems they have slowed the training down intentionally for some strange unknown reason.

Just get lost in the system and collect your 80 hours.

The union is asking for ASAPs on it. The company balked a bit over my request for a warm up sim a month after RQ3 and 3 months after initial. Hadn’t touched a JB aircraft in almost 7 months. They did eventually agreed to one a week before OE. If a guy sloshes OE months after completing initial a pilot could legitimately argue there’s probably some culpability on behalf the company. Only so much you can read in a manual.

This is why the entire leadership team should be fired. It reeks of incompetence, lies and indecision. I’ve never seen an airline or another publicly traded company run with such indecision and incompetence. Are they going to wait for 10 years of losses while the others make record profits?

Perhaps in response to NK's drawdown? But what do I know...

Yeah it’s exactly not that. It’s 100% because of blue sky. But they’ll never admit it
