Makes sense though, if united customers can see jb flights and book. It's just another option for their customers to book if they find the time convenient

PayPal is about to get acquired too.

when is it our turn?😢

Also to those who say you have to be in bankruptcy to get acquired, go look at PayPal’s financials.

You have to be viable to get acquired.

No you don’t…. Virgin America, Midwest and AirTran all recent examples of non viable carriers acquired outside of BK

None of the afore mentioned carriers was at or near bankruptcy. How were they not viable?

You honestly thought Virgin America was financially viable?

Lots of more airlines have been acquired at or near bankruptcy if you’d like that list!

Either way, no you do not have to be viable before getting acquired

Looks like NK is sticking around. That could be why JBLU is underperforming the market today and possibly headed back to $5. I think the pump we saw last week was due to a combination of the possible liquidation of Spirit and the merger rumours.
