As you said, rolling 365 days. And that's all that matters. Beyond that doesn't count. I wouldn't be surprised if we are not compliant now. But getting into compliance by the chosen effective date of a codeshare is quite possible. The block hrs will easily become compliant this year, and they control when they're ready to hire again.
Not sure this one gets satisfied unless they make major changes to their orders and hiring stance.

We're still not hiring so the chance of that happening any time soon is probably remote. And we've been told several times we're over staffed still. So any hiring would most likely just be to stem losing numbers, not increase to higher than previous year/s.

And they dont need to change fleet orders, only hiring stance. A220s are still coming(14 hulls, net growth relative to 365 days ago from [insert codeshare effective date here]) Also, 321neos, affected by the GTF problem, will be coming back online, potentially increasing block hours further.

I think the staffing model is in flux. Jetblue believes the traditional reserve model is inadequate for its needs. Flight ops seems to think they can manage open time with RSA/VDA. The guy thats negotiating the contract and seem to be VP of Flops right had guy has mentioned it a few times at recurrent.
Either way, both avenues lead to delayed hiring, so a long ways away from CBA compliance.

Could be. I actually agree in part. There should be no SCR. Assign all next day trips during the DRO to LCR. Anything that pops into OT after that goes Prem. Then VDA. They'll get trips covered. Maybe they pay more Prem/VDA but save on additional pilots.

The rumor I heard was they wanted to get rid of RSV staffing completely. Schedule everyone for min sked each month and rely on VDA to cover any open trips that didnt get picked up.

Truly comical. Just when you think JB has learned that square wheels won't work they surprise you with a doozy.

Then VDA will need to get overhauled to a system like Delta, where once you get used to it, you go to the bottom of the stack until everyone in seniority order has had the chance. If not, we will have just a select few being able to drop their schedules and enjoy a 200% pay increase.
