Default A320 in KROA

Saw a jetblue 320 in Roanoke last night 8/01/06. Was it a charter or do you guys plan on going there? Just curious.

I'm guessing it was a charter. There were two JBU flights that arrived in ROA yesterday (Friday):

Flight 4414 from Bedford, MA (presumably carrying the Northeastern Football team for their game against Tech), arrived at 12:05pm yesterday.

That aircraft turned outbound and flew from Roanoke to Kingston, NC (ISO) at 2:02pm yesterday.

The second aircraft arrived in Roanoke at 6:33pm yesterday from BWI (flt 4657), and spent the night. It departed ROA this evening back to Bedford, MA as flight 4416, at 6:41pm.

I'm guessing that if JetBlue manages flight numbers like ACA did when we flew charters, the flights begining with 44** are live charters and the flights with 46** are empty repos in support of charters.

Yeah... too bad. I would love to see some more low cost service here in ROA. Although I have heard rumors about more service coming to town sometime in the next year or so...

Do you live in the area?

No, I was just flying back to SDF finishing up my trip. We parked right next to it.

Flyer Josh...
Great detective work! That was me in the Blue Bus. All the flight info you posted was right on the money. We flew Northeastern in and then went to ISO to pick up ECU to play Navy. It sure was nice for this hometown Boy to fly the Bus back where it all started for me. I was on top of the world for a day, and it brought things full-circle for me. I'll probably never get that opportunity again!!
