G(scab)man,
Shame on you. A former ALPA member who willingly went to work for a non-union company who for the past 6 years has actively undercut Union contracts. Bet you'd cross the first picket line you come to just to get another flying job after B6 collapses. YOU are just another cancer cell in the B6 tumor. I am surprised that YOU of all people does not know what a scab is. I never have or would cross a picket line. Leaving the American Eagle/closed shop ALPA ****hole was one of the happiest days of my career. For a moment I knew how a POW feels when he gets released from prison... If B6 is a tumor then ALPA is the plague. Judging from your picture it seems you have already caught it. |
I guess you don't know how to use a dictionary. Look up 'scab'. The 4th definition fits you and all your B6 buddies to a "T".
|
Velocipede,
What is with this scab crap? After reading several of your posts I bet I could go to a dictionary and find many words that would fit you to a tee. Try and be a professional and tone down your hostility a bit. |

Someone needs to walk in others shoes for awhile and reminisce what it was like when he started in aviation and stop the finger pointing at others. Look in the mirror and ask, “what am I doing to make this a better place for future workers?” PS Say hi to your cousin Shrek for me. |
What is the general feeling among JB pilots about EXCEEDING the 8 hour crew duty time limitation, as far as "fatigue" is concerned?
|
I don't work for JB but I'm all for it as long as you cap the max duty day at 12 hours...The powers that be would never go for that though.

The crew DUTY limit is a ridiculous 16 hours!!! What do you think about ALPA supporting maintaining the 16 hour duty day?!? (as far as fatigue goes, I mean!!) |

4. a worker who refuses to join a labor union or to participate in a union strike, who takes a striking worker's place on the job, or the like. OK, here's the 4th definition you spoke of. Has anyone at JB refused to join a labor union? There is no union to join, so the answer is NO!! ( I know there are a couple from previous properties, but they ARE scabs and we all have a couple of those, CAL, UAL, AirTran, etc.) Has anyone at JB refused to participate in a union strike? Once again, no strike, no scabs!! Has anyone at JB taken a striking worker's place on the job? Again no strike, no scab. So bottom line, if you continue to overuse the word SCAB, it will no longer have any meaning. |

A couple of pilots is not 99% expressing the same opinion. Did I miss something I guess I don't understand your question.
