Ah the arrogant incompetence is alive and well in many departments in JetBlue. Attrition goes down slightly and Blujet puffs their chests out. They ain't seen nothing yet, the flood gates have yet to open. Those that get turned down, it could be a blessing in disguise. I'm just sorry that some of you got stung along.

Yeah that's a bummer. Does he have any checkride failures? I'm wondering if that's a red flag with the training issues they are having. Who knows?

Any idea on how many are still waiting from 2/25&26?

There seems to be a turn down in interviews and job offers for very qualified guys, and I've seen and heard of people with leas quals getting interviews and offers.

Aren't they about to park 57% of the fleet?

There has been some comments comments made by our MEC about needing 47% less pilots. But, as it stands today, we are having staffing problems, mainly due to attrition ( AA flow thru's, and people leaving for other carriers) so in my opinion that may not come to pass.

Good to hear. Losing a job and or seat bites!

Good luck to you all.

He was asked resign from training 10 years ago but other than that he never failed a single check ride or PC. From what he told me he disclosed everything on his application, therefore since he got the interview, despite the record, and moved on to phase two he thought he was in. Very disappointing but who knows what the real reason was. I was under the assumption that phase two was just a background check verification but there is clearly more to it.

Yeah who knows what exactly they are looking for right now?

Guys who will come onboard and be stuck at JetBlue. I.E. guys with No degree or TPIC.

There are many at JB who have both and quite a few will bail.

They don't want to invest in pilots. They would rather trap them.
