Why would JetBlue LOSE ( not loose) candidates? The FBI would be doing this to every applicant for every airline. Quit bashing our hiring process.....everyone has background checks.

You know at Delta the day you interview whether you get the job or not. Just as a comparison it seems to take anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 months to complete phase II and be offered a class.

Grim we are losing people due to our extended hiring process. We lost my closest friend to AA. He had not even applied to AA when he interviewed with jb in the spring. After weeks of waiting and uncertainty he finally got off his a.ss and got that application going. The entire process and in class in less than half the time it took jb to lose him.

Had we hired him in a reasonable amount of time he would have stayed. Besides Being tired of starting over, and the whole app/interview process in general is simply exhausting.

IMO I don't think the FBI thing has anything to do with it.

Kinda of a quick turn around for Phase 2 notifications this week. Myself and another 1030 interview from Tuesday got the good news today.

I was wondering if anyone from the fall round of interviews has gotten a call for class yet and/or has been notified that Phase 2 is complete?

The 9/16 group was the first interview this Fall and that was 6 1/2 weeks ago. They said 8-12. I haven't heard of any of us getting good or bad news yet. Most background checks are complete from Sterling's end, though.
