Apparently according to Swindler, the combined airline will keep 6.5 gates. Operative word “apparently”……
Apparently LAX- Hawaii is around the corner.
Apparently EWR will return to 50+ departures……….ooooh but they chose to divest those slots and gates to Allegiant last week …….and that’s not apparently that was announced!

You said yourself “If JetBlue keeps the 6.5 gates”………..
Try to think of all the positives of going to UA or AA……..do any of those statements involve the word if?

There are numerous threads out there on this topic, it ultimately comes down your own situation: your age, age of children if any, years on property, left or right seat………

Just Dont turn down a great opportunity for the FOMO of what at best MIGHT be.

At NK any pilot from any base can fly south anywhere in the system. I've heard some crazy stories of our pilots from non-Florida bases having a panic attack in MIA because they got rescheduled to fly into MDE back when we were still doing those.

On the NK there are lots of Central America trips out of IAH on one day turns. There are also some multi day trips originating at IAH they flow through MCO or FLL to do Central America turns.

We can which is a bit different than JB apparently? Interesting to see who gets qual’d down there on their end and which group at NK gets SQ qual’d. Totally different topic, but found this to be interesting.

I’ve heard of some guys out of the FL bases freaking out over the jungles turns lol Guves me a good chuckle

If you're moving to Chicago and that will be home for you, don't come to JB. UA or AA is what you want.

Spring of next year the only cities that will require the Latin America qualification for B6 will be Bogota, Guatemala City, Medellin, and Quito. The others (Lima, Guayaquil, San Jose CR and Liberia) will be able to be built into regular pairings eventually. I doubt that the pairings change all at once, but I guess it could happen.
