Maybe 10yrs from now. I think it is a matter of time before we order the A321LR and use that as a way to test the waters for long haul flying. Assuming that goes well then I could see a widebody Airbus order.

Yep, 321lr first, and that's still several years away from a real airplane and a real fleet here at JB. Then it will be several more years of making sure we actually have a market for longer haul. If the long haul stuff failed for whatever reason the interiors can be easily redone and flown domestic. Win, win without the huge risk of a couple billion dollar widebody order.
If the LR delivers the numbers Airbus is claiming it will be a great airplane for us to test some longer deeper south stuff than we do now.

Best rumors I've heard:
-going through ETOPS certification (enabling us to go farther down into South/Central America and be able to use The "L" routes when Bermuda isn't a usable alternate)
-getting SATCOM and automatic position reporting. (Again, for longer range/ deeper south stuff)
-A321LR/A330/C series
(I'll believe this when I see the planes on property)
-SJC base
-merging with Aerflot and having a regional operator fly the IL-96 on the LGA-BOS shuttle. Well, maybe not this one.
Anyone else have any good rumors?

And then from the ridiculousness section:
-Merging with HA
-opening a LAS, AUS, or SAN crew base
-buying Frontier and/or Spirit
