Correct. The 190 will fit a 22," the Bus will fit just about anything.

The spot for your bag was pretty much made for the LW 22" stealth. It fits standing upright on its wheels with about an inch on every side. When you put it in there leave the handle extended and it makes a perfect rack for your coat.. The bus on the other hand will fit a bag you see people in FLL dragging around going on a cruise with...plus two jumpseaters and their crap.

(But seriously, no there's nothing you really need to do beforehand)
Don't forget your kneeboard and AFD. Very important!

The bus has lots of room for your knee board.

I refuse to use the tray table, because That would be too easy😄

Lights & switches, flows, and call-outs. Master those and you've figured out about 95% of the program. There's nothing you need to do ahead of time.

Is there a store nearby for those of us who don't own any any cool pilot stuff? Blue kneeboard, E6B, headset, etc.?

See ya at orientation on the 5th! Congrats on the new job. You'll love the 121 world. Get ready for some Exemption 3585, FAR 117 & dispatch wx reqs.

What's your preference on aircraft/base? Do you have one?

Given a choice I'll opt for the 320 to JFK. I won't be disappointed with whatever I'm given. I feel very fortunate just to be joining the JetBlue team! See you at training!

I've been with Jetblue for 5 years now on the 190. I have yet to get dispatched under Exemption 3585.

Know your lights and switches guide and ops limits/memory items. Being prior military myself, I had a hard time remembering the hydraulics and electrical systems. So I drew the diagrams out of the FCOM Vol 2. Made it so much easier for me to remember.

Have a good attitude and study hard. Welcome to Jetblue.
