I'm sure someone is wondering the same, so I will pose this question. On the fourth subsection of the application it asks how many training failures and checkrides that one has failed. Does an end-of-course part 141 stage check count as a checkride? Or should it be placed in the training failure box?

I would put it as a training failure. Because it won't show up on the FAA database.

Gotcha. Thanks.

Guys with 2000hrs TOT really think you deserve to be at JetBlue? I'll be among the first to admit we aren't top of the pile, but "come on man". 4000hrs plus, seems to be the standard for the past few years just to give an idea. Things could always change if our app pool dries up though, and 2000 could be the ticket. Crazy times we're living in.

If you don't apply, you'll never know. Some pilots don't need a lot of time to "get it".

Apply everywhere all the time. That is how you get a job.

I thought it is worth trying. Especially since I really want to be part of jetblue, I see most of people here want to use this company as a step stone. Some people, like me, are actually looking to stay there and eventually try to get there as soon as possible; I will keep trying constantly. I do appreciate anyway people being realistic about my low experience... I am aware of it. Again... Just trying :)

good luck to everyone!

I think most of us planned to stay here and make it our final stop in our career. But after seeing how this place is actually (mis)managed, how poorly they treat pilots and how the core values are nothing but total BS, many of us have changed our minds and want out.

Not to burst your bubble.

I hear Cape Air is hiring at 2,000TT. From there you'll flow right into BlewJet in no time. Word is we are buying them, merger around the corner.

In all honesty, it's really about who you blow..., I mean know, in this industry. So kid, who you know?

Best thing you can do is put your app in. You won't get a call if you don't.
If you really want to be at jetblue just keep trying. Heck if you listen to some guys on here you might get that call soon since everyone is leaving and nobody wants to interview here.

But really man good luck hope you get what you want.

Letter of Recommendations

Question: I submitted my application because I didn't want the window to close while I am waiting on the letters of recommendation. I have the names, employee numbers, and email address in the application but didn't upload the LoRs. Will they ask for them if the rest of my app is complete or will not having them be the nail in the coffin this time around?
