Why apply when you know you do not have the quals? I don’t know what happens over at HR, but I would imagine that your app. Goes into the junk file. I disagree with the poster who wrote that he would apply and update. If you have read the thread you know how difficult it is to update. The other comment regarding squeaky wheels is also bad advice.

Anyone at K4 care to chime in with regards to the coming 777/777s? Any speculation as to how many and what they’ll actually be used for. More 747s? Do you get the feeling that the 777 will eventually be replacing the 747?

Long time listener first time caller. I want to ask for opinions on the long-term viability of K4? I was fortunate to get hired in early 2016 and have upgraded due to the amazing growth but it scares me just a little. I rarely get to ask the senior guys anymore what they think the long-term out look is (on the 767 now). The latest information I was told is there is a direct correlation between Connie growth and what Ned Wallace is suggesting as far as aircraft purchases ect. I want to make K4 a career airline but I just cant seem to get any good answers on what the long term plans is (except for the same thing we’ve all been told concerning a 5 year board/plan after Connie). I know it will all be speculation but I’d like to hear it!

Right now only one 777 is confirmed and will be used for DHL. I’m sure they are trying to get more. CP said four more 747s by years end. I think that yes eventually, someday the Queen will be done. Just don’t know when.

I was wondering if anyone else has tried to update their resume after getting to the second stage lately. I received the second stage email months ago and have tried to update my resume due to promotion, but I am getting a post undeliverable email back while replying to the Kalitta email I received. I am thinking my application was lost in the pile for how long ago I applied and I am not able to reapply through the website. Thanks for any help!
