No, but if awarded a back to back and you haven't been a prick to scheduling, they will usually try work something out to give you a few days at home unless sending you home would cause you to "double-out" for an extended period.

In 2012 when I was on the Classic they once built me a sim support line for an entire month, being a Detroit boy i grooved on it, I was home every night, they were desperate for sim support back then, the whole jeopardy thing, I guess, but it was all good.

Again.. yes back to backs happen... but like someone said above... if you are nice to them.. they will be nice to you... and frankly if you work 32 straight with the amount of flying we have been doing ... you very likely wouldnt get to 32 hours anyway before timing out.

How does bidding work? With ACMI are actual trips and flights built that far in advance to where you might have an idea where you are going? Or do you just bid on the day you start your 16 day trip and it's anyones guess to where you end up? Or a little of both? I understand that things can change in ACMI world though.

So, you are basically bidding for days off/on.
Each line has a guarantee assigned to it. If you are awarded a 95 hr line (only the senior guys get those) that is your new guarantee for the month instead of 64.
Getting pulled off your line usually results in making more money as most the built lines have "layover" days in them. These result in no pay credit for that day. If you get pulled off your line, any day you are not flying, you either have to be assigned a reserve period which gives you 4 hours of pay credit or a 1-in-7 (no credit but limited to only 3 unpaid of these each bid period)

Back to back
No one does 16 back to back unless they want to
As a new FO by the time you bid your second month on the line you'll have 20 guys beheath you
In 6 months close to 100
Don't worry about 32 straight
