You are where you are because of you and the rest of that group. Not IBT, not your reps, YOU and your group. Please decertify, your group is not worth our efforts. The reason that there is a K2 is malleable, wishful people who staff the airline. Don't go away mad, just go away.

Enjoy your industry low contract. You'll never make it to anything close to industry standard.

K4 hold up was their request to change the Teamsters bylaws which would favor them over other Teamster carriers..... possibly giving them an advantage in bidding simular contracts. Like another carrier coming in making 1/2 as much willing to do the same contract and bidding against you. Teamsters were trying to make it a level playing field to prevent whipsawing one carrier against another.

Atlas 1224 didn't like the max duty day and caused our contract to be delayed by 6 months. It wasn't Teamsters, it was Atlas 1224 trying to prevent the K4 pilot group from voting. K4 left 1224 so our competitor didn't have their hands in our contract and business. 1224 is a perfect example of the failures of socialism.

BTW, I would suggest that you study the history of all these RLA issues. The internet is a wonderful resource.

I'm not familiar with K2's contract but I'd assume that everyone there is looking for better jobs... Everyone is hiring... I agree that his attitude was kind of bad. People have to get experience somewhere to work their way up the ladder.

I'd have stayed at Atlas with a 22 hour day staying around... I'd accept all the other ACMI BS too. Let's say a general cost of UPS +20% complete with the retirement. You want to beat the snot out of me? Compensate me or watch me walk and take your chances on another new hire...
