The first of many, 777-300ERSF’s, converted former Emirates passenger planes, will be arriving soon……

Yeah, they’ve been arriving soon for awhile now. Expected to start trickling in early next year (for now). They will in fact need a lot of new hires for the triple. They’re building up the ranks as much as they can now in preparation for them and the triple new-hire hiring is not expected to slow down anytime soon considering how many planes are expected.

How many hours and turbine time are new hires needing to have these days to get a call at K4?

They have started.
Won't hear anything until a TA because of confidentiality clauses.

3-400 new hires required in next 12 months and that doesn't include attrition.

Chances for it to be worth a lateral move from Atlas will be very low though, but I'll hope for the best for you guys

Survey says: Nine out of Ten pilots think Kalitta Air is the best place to work. Come here and find out for yourself. I hear they might be getting applicants with some Seminole or Diamondstar time now. The union contract is already hammered out. The union is finalizing the language to require the company to allow us to wear combo covers in the terminal to let the general public know that we are the highest paid and respected pilots in the industry.
