Under the new program I don't know. We have had several pilots with very similar qualifications hired here in the past. A few are now captains. Send in your stuff, fill out the application. What do you have to lose?

Anyone know if Kalitta pays per diem during initial training?

When I was there during the NJA furlough hotels were picked up right before sim started I think that may have changed. Loved my time there at K4, the air pirates rock !!!

Last year as a newhire, the company paid for hotel and perdiem the entire time. I know the new contract states exactly what HercDriver is saying, but does the company follow that to the T for new guys?

I was in the first new hire class under the new contract. Hotel and per diem was all paid starting Day 1.

I stated the contract... but I am fairly certain they have been covering it all from day 1

According to that feller that I sat sim with, all was paid according to the contract, so I assume that is correct.
