No benefits for family, but you can jump seat. If you're off travel all you want as long as you show up back at work.
Mx and safety are good. It's not the same as back in 08.
Thank you, seriously considering going to K4, if there's anything else you think I should know I'm all ears...really like the idea of traveling around the world and a random schedule

Any job fair appearances planned for K4 in the coming months?

How does a split line work?

Already discussed ad nauseam. Essentially 6 days on the front of the month, and 10 on the back (or some other variation of that)

It means that you lose one to two days off that month because you have to travel twice.

I was wondering what the downside was to the split. Thank you

Not all split lines are like that, some are in the middle of the month. First 10 days off, and last 5 or what ever. Such lines are a good way to get 3 weeks off or perhaps work back to back with 5 days off between.

That is not a split line. Those are simply lines with start days other than the first or 14th/15th. A split line is exactly that, your sixteen days are not worked consecutively. Split lines can be useful if you need to control your schedule for a specific life event or while transitioning from first half or second half lines to the opposite. As stated above, you will need to travel twice in a month and this will cost you some of your time off.

Gotcha, only thought of it as being split because your days off were split up.
