BDL would be junior for the A220, ORF would be junior for the E195.

BUT it sounds like they may be thinking of re-basing each of those to different locations….

You don’t work at Avelo so how would you know how lucrative it is?

Charter has been very lucrative for almost everyone the last few years as some of the biggest charter players like Delta have been turning down business because they are aircraft and pilot limited. That situation is starting to rectify itself and charter rates will come back down to more normal pricing.

Default Recently Hired FO's

Any recently hired FO's have information on how long training takes, how long on reserve or expected to be on reserve? Reserve longer on A220 vs E190?

Yea not sure how they plan on doing co basing. Most of those city pairs they talked about are still very far from one another. Could be they’re just exploring it and nothing more. They need to hurry up and announce some kind of western base like LAS or PHX, that would solve some of the commuting issues and help with recruiting.

Word on the street is that we’re experiencing exactly what the regionals are. Plenty of low time FO’s but no DEC’s. The charter program is lucrative but it doesn’t crank out Captains.

We had two DEC in our class of 12 that finished 2/9. One A220 and the other E-Jet
