Hello wondering if I should apply to breeze. I do not meet the 500 hour 121 requirements. I have around 6000tt 700 multi from Cape Air with an ATP. have been flying caravans for the last 10 years. Seems like I qualify for most of the other bigs just not Breeze[scratches head]. Interested in Breeze for home basing.

Cape Air?
I just got the following e-mail response after publishing my AirlineApps to Republic.
Subject: Republic Airways Pathway Opportunity
"Thank you for your application and continued interest in the First Officer position! At this time we are still not scheduling FO interviews, unless you have 500 hours of upgradeable time. We recently rolled out a new Pathway Program to build 135 PIC time through Cape Air. This new program was designed to get you to the right seat of one of our Embraer 175s within seven months. If you qualify for an unrestricted ATP you may be able eligible to start as a Captain at Cape Air, where you will start building your time towards 121 upgrade. Once you hit 700 hours of 135 PIC time at Cape Air you will be eligible to choose an upcoming class date with Republic Airways."

I would count on A220 BDL/PVD. The company is struggling to hire DEC’s. They’re asking ejet cappy’s to transition asap. I honestly believe the 190’s will have to be parked in order to keep the 220’s that are coming flying.

How long does it take FOs to get CHS. What about DECs?

Solid, appreciate the info. Have class soon and BDL would be the best option for me. So, hoping I can get that out of the gate. I've got previous 121 time as well, so worst comes to worst I can probably get it soon after upgrade if need be.

If all of these companies are so desperate for DECs, perhaps they would guarantee a base the DEC prefers? In my case, if I could be guaranteed TPA right out of the chute, I’d stay until 65 (8 more years). I’m not willing to commute anymore, been there done that. Not asking to usurp seniority, just dreaming.
