I remember during the AT merger, guys on Flightinfo were boasting how "Delta's days were numbered," and "ATL is ours now."

Good point.

ALSO, go back to FI days when SW was changing their business model and started operating into legacy hubs and the legacy pilots would boast "we'll run them right out of our territory!!!!! There's NO WAY they can operate in our cities! They're not cut out for it!!!!!"

LAX, DEN, ATL, just to name a few.

Pilot's d-bag personalities, egos, and hubris pontificating on things that are so far above their pay grade knows no bounds.......

I guarantee you not even one WN pilot ever stated that we were taking Atlanta. Show me proof. SW mgmt always stated they weren’t planning on doing much in Atlanta. Nice try though.
