Could be another DAL urban legend. However, on the flip side, one can’t rule out over zealous “Company Rah Rah” individuals from making claims.

Who the f cares? So someone from corporate decided to put up stupid wall art in the OAK lounge? Whoopie. How that made the news is beyond me.
The vast majority of pilots at SWA could give a rats behind about crushing the competition. We just want to fly our trip, make some scratch, and go home to the things that matter. We also want that same thing for everyone else. Some of you guys are way too hurt and prideful about your airline vs another airline to the point of being petty. I bet your dad can bet up my dad too.

I'd have to go back and dig through 10 years' worth of FI posts. You're right, never happened.

But if you're going to do that, you ALSO need to look for every DAL pilot that expressed the view I mentioned. But, hey, never happened....

Congrats, you all managed to fly 5 hours over the water without screwing it up yet. Must be the high tech ETOPS planning room ya' all have.

Management is management, all the same in many respects, and will do whatever they choose to break out from the pack. Pilots on the other hand, are just hired hands that can be at the bottom of another seniority list with one mistep from their company. We don't make the rules, we just operate the equipment. We need to stick together and look out for one another, regardless of the uniform of the day.

Bingo. Few care anymore, there or anywhere else. Most SWA pilots are solid dudes and like most of us, just want to work, get paid, and go home. They've saved my commuting a$$ too many times to count. Not many left there cheerleading or chest thumping Herb's airline. Just a job now, huge corporation with the same issues as any other. No ownership, just a check, hoping it's not the last.

Nice to see some sanity enter the room. There are bigger things in the world to be up in arms about than a picture of a mounting in a crew lounge that the pilots had zero say and was never intended to be public. Management is management and will do their management thing. We as pilots just show up and move the metal.
