China Warns Citizens Against Travel to the US

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/06/04/chin...to-the-us.html

Well, that was a nice 10 years of economic prosperity while it lasted. I'm officially in recession mode.

It’s amazing to me that someone was paid to write about $0.05 cost increases on burritos. Nice.

Aw heck, let's just put a few billion dollars on a plane and fly it to China. It worked last time, right?

Teddy Roosevelt said it best...

Exhausting seeing the market and news react to such events. Is it possible to have a 5 or 10 year view of political events?

All things being done seem silly in the short term but wise in the big picture of economic security and negotiating capital.

Continuing to increase the amount of green house gases in our atmosphere is an existential threat to the human race.

Reducing trade with China accomplishes the same thing. China uses bunker oil in their cargo ships, an environmentally apocalyptic choice.
