Scientists across the globe are sounding the alarm on our planet heating up due to fossil fuel dependency. If we can’t believe our scientists and instead listen to our corrupt politicians who take kickbacks from these oil companies who are apart of the problem then what will we become? I’m not saying we get rid of oil immediately, we can’t. America needs to do what it does best and innovate. That is truly what will make “America great again”. Innovation was what made this nation the best, not a huge military power. We provided the highest standard of living this world has ever seen through innovation. I feel that finding a better more renewable energy source the problem could be solved. Calling climate change a “political problem” and pushing a “political agenda” is juvenile. This is a world problem and America needs to show the world that we can solve it. For those that don’t believe our scientists I implore you to use Google and it’s “search function” (as you guys like to bash people who seek answers on these message boards) to find information regarding this topic.

Here is a rundown of the often quoted 97% talking point and why it's wrong.

If you told me 20 years ago that pilots would become part of the figurative boat anchor that the scientific and intellectual elite would have to contend with I wouldn’t have believed you. Most of you “know-better-than-scientists “ won’t even watch this and if you do you’ll probably remain firmly planted in your alternate “reality” by some delusional rationalization.
Anyway, don’t know the guy or channel but what he says rings true:

Yes, we all need to learn the NEW scientific method, as used by CAGW alarmists:
Make an observation.
Conduct research.
Form hypothesis.
Test hypothesis.
Alter data because the hypothesis doesn't work.
Retest hypothesis.
Alter data again because the hypothesis still doesn't work.
Retest hypothesis.
Alter data again because the hypothesis still doesn't work.
Screw the data; make outrageous claims that aren't based on science but make it sound all sciency to fool the large population of human lemmings.
The new and improved scientific method.

To the person who posted the WSJ article. Unfortunately I’m don’t have a subscription to the WSJ and wasn’t able to read most of it. I would be interested in reading it though. I would however like a scientific journal from a scientist that states “global warming is a conspiracy” and not something from the WSJ “opinion” section. I’m glad everyone on here seems to be contempt about leaving the planet in its current condition for their kids to inherit though. I don’t understand why people seem so opposed to moving over to an alternative form of energy though.
