There are some in power that want to transform the US away from capitalism. This was a legit crisis that has been hijacked by radicals and the MSM. Any destruction of livelihood is seen as an opportunity for dependence on Government and therefore an ultimate all-powerful entity. This is not a conspiracy theory, it is a conspiracy among the power hungry. Capitalism presents too much freedom and independence- 2 words that irk any Socialist.
For the Dems, most of them see the US as a basically good country, but the loud ones have been allowed to hijack the party and are calling the shots with the help of the MSM.
The good Dems are not fighting back because they are cowards. They are silent about the war on police.
I hope you all enjoyed the ride, but when the smoke clears, our freedoms will be severely curtailed.
Im sure we'll hear from some progressives now about the virtue of Government control, and how Orange-man bad justifies anarchy, chaos and Socialism, but its the devil's work. The industry is destroyed and every single airline will be forced into bankruptcy and become heavily dependent on Government. It'll be Greyhound or Amtrak.

The quickest a vaccine has EVER been put on the market is four years. And that is just getting it into distribution, not actually getting a substantial number of people immunized. And while there has never before been a coronavirus vaccine approved for human use, there have been several veterinary coronavirus vaccines approved. They tend to be poorly effective and what effect they have fairly temporary.

And yes, many of these announcements are like computer vapor ware. The SEC ought to be watching them closely.

Define significant. I don’t think 2019 should be the metric, because all airlines were hiring/growing at an unsustainable clip. How long until they make their first dollar after “right fitting” the market. That’s a more critical moment for sustainability and airline survival.

That's going to vary for each airline. Big three hurtin' the worst obviously. The rest variable by costs, financial flexibility, and customer base. That last can and likely will shuffle around a bit over the next couple of years.
