Skilcraft “US Gov” retractable ballpoint pens. Love em. Not as large as standard pens, lighter. Definitely stronger too. They drop out of sight in the in the pen slot on a pilot shirt. Little thinner than the standard pen as well. In my efb/flight bag I can get two of these pens in the pen slots that usually only hold one. Refillable. Also, Skilcraft has been making them for 50+ years, and lots of the labor is from people with disabilities. Pens are also under military contract and have been since the 60’s. They write for a mile, litterally, and designed to withstand extreme temps. Pretty cool history behind the company and employees.

Titanium machined pen. Had a cross pen until i found out they sold out and are now made overseas. While that’s fine, it isn’t the proud American pen with a long US made history it once was.
Pens and sunglasses I don’t lose.

Routine bordering on crazy. My pen is in 2 places only, my hand while I’m using it and my pocket when I’m not. Never put it down to be left. Sunglasses case goes in the way of zipping up my flight case. When the flights done I can’t put away the iPad or zip my case unless I put away the sunglasses first.

I’m the same. I wanted to have a legit non-hotel pin. I ended up buying a Tul pen. Came with black and blue cartridges. Has a nice weight. Think it was $15. That said, I already have a space pen, been using them for 25 years. My dad has cross pens that he’s had for ~50 years.
