In the days of HD cameras everywhere, the axiom:
"Believe none of what you hear, and half of what you see" is exactly backwards.
Video lies, we know it lies, but it is extraordinarily convincing. Our brains are not, and will never be, equipped to deal with this.

I had an instance where a passenger and her child were so poorly behaved that the entire crew agreed she should not be allowed to continue on her connecting flight. Since we knew where her connector was, we all 6 walked over to the gate, spoke with the agent and the Captain and voiced our concerns. What happened after that I don't know.
Did we overstep? Absolutely not, IMO. Had they been connecting on *our* flight we would have refused them hands down. So why not warn a new, unsuspecting crew? Of course, in my situation, it was 2 gates down. I wouldn't have taken a train from ATL F gates over to the T gates, but I would have called somebody.
But following a guy around a huge airport and into a bathroom? Uh... no. There are ways to figure this out. Passenger manifests, etc.

The airlines have people who make $13 bucks an hour who would have called and notified the proper parties about that situation. Best to just make the call/acars and go stand in line at Starbucks between flights (if it’s open)

never ask any other department to call the LEO's for help. I'll request ATC to call or call 911 on my cellphone. I've been burned the other way.

Although I won't mention my company, as someone employed for decades by one major that uses a couple of the first letters of the alphabet, I will

JFK-Antigua.....AA gifted that up to the bottom bidder years ago.
Hell...they sold off the gold mine that was the Caribbean in 2008 ish. AMR owned the Caribbean and most of South America, but who the hell am I?
No regional jet could do that route without a stop in TXKF and likely TJSJ.
Douche canoe alert!!!

Photoshop and a $50 inkjet printer?
This behavior is so bizarre as to be almost unbelievable.
Plus the alleged pilot looks about 70 years old, although some of us wear differently than others. Maybe the guy turned 65 the next day and just didn't give a you-know-what.
