People leave class all the time. It’s business. You go to spirit even IF you had a class date elsewhere later. Anything can happen and classes cancel. Go to spirit and leave when and if you have the delta class date coming up, but not before.

Absolutely, in 2001 airlines were hiring at a max clip right up through summer, then all of a sudden oil started spiking, demand evaporated and all companies went from hiring to furloughing after the "force majeur" event of 9/11, but the truth of that time was that this industry was in a serious economic tailspin going into 9/11. Companies had already announced no hiring and it was indicated by 4 WB aircraft being hijacked during 9/11 yet the total people onboard all 4 were less than one full aircraft.

Point is, people that have been in this business long enough know that when demand dries up, it's a drought, and we've been in flood stage so long in this industry that many forget that the economy/consumer gets a vote. Unfortunately its usually like this where right before the gas runs out, it runs hot on vapor......hopefully I'm wrong this time, please fasten seatbelts for unexpected rough air.

I now understand why airlines have to give pilot assessments.

Here's another question for the room:
If I'm happily married, with two children, but one of them is kinda a brat. And I get my mistress pregnant. . . she'd love to get married and she's prettier than my wife but is willing to get an abortion if I don't want to get married. Also, I had sex with a Cougar FA last night and she might get pregnant. What should I do?
