Your right. It's not unsafe at all that's just the ALPA BS talking point. Since when is making money a bad thing in this country? Only pilots think that way. Pension hell no, more LTD hell no, more B fund money hell no, more payed health care hell no. WTF

Another ALPA BS point is that age 67 will cause displacements. Really?

This is pure anti-union garbage. The unions aren't driving this. This is purely the fault of the airlines. Of course, I'm not surprised that that clown thinks the unions are the bad guys here.
Nobody is blaming anybody. Fact is there are not enough pilots to staff the airlines. That equals lost service to small communities and airline cutting back rather than growing. Has nothing to do with blaming anyone its about fixing the problem. ALPA wants to do nothing and that's the issue when we can all be rapidly expanding. It's also just going to get worse. Sitting back and blaming management does nothing to fix the problem. Not a Graham fan but he's right,, imagine where we would be had it not been raised to 65. Only talking 2 years here folks to help stabilize the problem.

All the same BS talking points made when bumped to 65. Zero have come true. Just a bunch of self serving pilots crying about maybe another 4 months of reserve. Cmon get real 67 is no big deal. The 63 to 65 guys I fly with are incredibly experienced and it shows. 67 is a non issue in my book.

67 is on the way regardless of the vote. Dems don't want to be blamed for air chaos and that's exactly what will happen not to mention the insane prices. It's low hanging safe political fruit to get on board with it and it's let the lobbying effort begin. Will.see it in about 6 months get signed into law.

This is easy for Biden to support to help counter all the old age BS coming his way. It's actually a very good gift from the Republicans and can show bipartisanship in solving a problem. That's what voters want. My message to the Dems is block this at your own peril, the ads are being made right now blaming Democrats for all the travel chaos and frankly I think it's fair if they do nothing.

You bounced to a major and you want to look back and deny a guy that can pass his medical, recurrent, and line check a couple more years to store up for the long haul inflation we are going to go through for the next several years? Nice. Karma is not on your side. Cog decline can start early. The sim and the line check will identify it before it's an issue. Remember what you wrote and sock it away for several years from now. Full disclaimer..... Not going to 65 let alone 67.
If they were at a regional in their 60s this was a second career or they made very poor choices.

Anyone that took early retirement would probably be retired anyway by now or if they have more time left before 65 they can go get hired somewhere with their fat buyout already in the bank and essentially double dip. Some are already doing this.
