This is true.

The only time I’ve had a couple of stray clippings is when I let it grow a bit on my days off and there’s a lot to cut through. If you’re using it everyday, it has no problem catching it inside the guard.

One week in Artesia, NM. Also makes for fantastic cockpit security as a side benefit.

2nd Braun... got an older series 7 version from 2017.

Works great on the road. With thick hair prone to razor bumps, I consistently achieve a close shave with no bumps. If I shave daily, no real mess to clean up but longer gruff just takes a little wipe around the sink to clean up.

I'm a safety razor user too. Best thing I've found for the road is a Trac II. You can get them on eBay for $10. The blades are cheap. I like the Gillette 7 o'clock brand blades without the lube strip.

If so, I come from a very humble background, and have learned that properly drying your blade between uses extends the life hugely. If you only use it on the road for 7 or 8 nights a month one blade can last forever.
You can use your forearm, inner side as a strop.

Thank me later. It's more than a dollar, but seriously simplifies that part of life. Heck, I just dry shave with them and have pretty old skin. They try to upsell products for "fancy" guys too if you're into that sort of thing.

Don't bother with the "kits", just order the blades and a handle.

A guy over at JB that says the used ones make pretty shanks too.

No you diin't
