meh. Yeh they make a killing but they work their a$$ off for it. Also you’ll never have the option to dabble in widebody flying.

Do they? Sounds like every SWA guy is banking $400K with 18 days off per month. Atlas not far behind.

Really? The ones I’ve talked to are flying 3-5 legs a day around 13-15 off making nowhere near that much..

I really don’t know why you’re so offended by my post. You asked for income and that’s what I gave you! And if it wasn’t for my ex wife and her greedy little hands, that number would be a bit higher. But you don’t see me complaining or getting upset like you did, do you?

Atlas 8th Yr 747 Capt:

$450k gross
$26.8k company 401k contribution
($476.8k total compensation)

740 hrs
Average 15 days off per month.

Worked a bit extra and sold back 2 out of 3 weeks vacation but I didn't miss them. Had quite a few full months off through bidding smartly.

Surprisingly didn't feel like I worked terribly hard but then again a good portion of those hours were spent sleeping in the bunk.
