Too lazy to come up with the DC number but I guess it’s 16% of what I made.

Employee contributed 100%. The title of my thread says UAL. Reading is a good thing.

$166/hr 5th year pay. $324k=1951 credit hours/12=162 credit per month

162 credit month against 64 block
16.5 days a month worked=9:48 credit per day.

What am I missing here?

Delta, Year 5 pay.
2 months 7ER (757/767) F/O
10 months 320 Captain

Out sick/disability for 2.5 months. NQAT (non qual awaiting training) 1 month, 1 month in full 320 IQ course.
Vacation (2 weeks) cashed out as they put me in the sims during my vacation. Because why not.
Rolled thunder (RES effective double pay) for April.
0-1 GS a month (Double time trip) May-August, nothing since September. Was out September-Mid November after a dirtbike crash.

$277,221 Flight Pay (sick pays out as this)
$5,900 Per Diem
$1,900 Profit Sharing/Rewards (they did a goofy 1 time $1250 PS this year)
$44,500 401k contribution
$329,521 total income
$77,400 in income tax. Holy balls thats more than I made year 1 here (stuck on training pay a while, plus on mil leave for a bit)

453 hours flown
$727/hr effective flight pay, but if you factor in sims, it's probably closer to 600. I don't track sim hours.

Generally gone from home 11-17 days a month between non commutable trips and short call. I do sit long call reserve at home.

Nice write up! Informative and honest. btw, are paystubs out for our Dec 31st check already, or are you giving it a way for the final paycheck of the year?

AA 2-3 year FO.

146k gross
21k direct contributions
Total 167k

7k spent for a penis enlargement at a famous MIA plastic surgeon, hopefully tax deductible. (Got to better entertain the size queen stews).
