Nobody in DC wants any sort of extended gridlock. It would expose just how unnecessary most of the bureaucracy really is.

We have been subsidizing the US production of mohair since 1954. How many of you have a single article of apparel made of goat hair?

And I agree with McConell. The GOP or anybody who believes people can unilaterally motion a removal vote serves no one.

The fed is on track to shutdown on the 18th, unless another CR is passed. Certain people in the house might be willing to let it happen.
