Ugly day at LGA

Exactly. This has been an unprecedented hiring environment, nobody has a sim check, and a friggin' kumquat can pass today's AQP training environment. Hopefully things will get a bit better now that the hiring is tightening up some.

I would like to see them come back to doing simulator evals during the interview. I feel like they were able to weed out a lot of people who struggle with basic instrument flying when they all did that.

They can’t hit the diversity numbers with a sim eval. It’s all about TMAAT, and it better be in the STARR or whatever the new format is. Hahahaha, sim eval….Its how you tell a good story my boy. A great story shows a 1k loss to a stupid interview prep company.

Tell me: how many people have died at the hands of DEI pilots? What about white men?

Most of the regionals has a sim ride until around 2018. It's not about diversity. It's purely because mainline did not prepare for the retirement boom.

If the FAA ever actually did allow a deep dive into the statistics all hell would break loose.
Heck, look at the NTSB changing "She" to "The FO" and finally "He" on the United 767 IOE crumple.
