I find it funny that the meme is that the guy making $400k a year is too cheap to buy decent coffee and suffers through airplane coffee because it's free. Then makes fun of the younger FOs for preferring to spend money on something that doesn't taste like it was filtered through a dirty sock

It tastes terrible and the only redeeming quality is that it's "break glass in case of emergency" caffeine.

The airport chain coffee places are fine, not great. Stumptown does a good job with a consistent product. But i still think it's worth it to spend a couple of bucks on airport coffee versus drinking hose water stored in a tank that hasn't been cleaned in a year

I’ve gone to only drinking the nitro cold brews or iced coffee if that’s all they have. The Sbux nitro is actually really good.
