Default Interview suit

So where is everyone getting their interview suits these days?

I haven't bought a suit in 12 years and now that I'm in my 50's, I have no idea what the current styles, etc. are for interviews at the Big 3. Or is it the same as it's always been for the past 25 years?

Either way, what are people buying / wearing?

Men's warehouse can fix you up. Still go with the usual conservative colors for airlines.

If you want a suit that will look stylish at say weddings, and maybe make an above-average impression at an interview, find a local shop that does custom suits. That will cost more naturally.

Joseph A Bank is another good option, a little nicer than Men’s Warehouse, but not as spendy as a Brooks Bros.

Got hired by UA last year. Over 50. Wore a suit I bought for a wedding in Spain in 2003. Third job it got me.

I have worn the same blue suit from >10 years ago that I got from men’s warehouse to all the interviews I’ve gotten hired.

The way I've always done it is to wear a suit that most closely matches their uniform. Eg, the dress for the job you want thing. (Minus the strips wing and hat obviously). Batted 1000 in my career doing that.

I’ll second what Fangs said, went with Joseph A Bank. We’ll see if it works out! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I know guys who wore tan suits. Just wear a professional looking suit, nothing fancy or flashy. Look professional, act professional

More importantly than from where is the fit.
Make sure it’s properly tailored. A poor fitting $1500 suit will look worse than a $200 properly tailored suit.
