I just bought a pair from amberjack. They arrived yesterday. Sizing seems slightly off, perhaps half a size too small. Just fyi for those that may order from them. Otherwise, the sole feels soft and is likely very comfortable to wear all day.

j&M Upton Chelsea Boot

Been wearing JM Chelseas daily for years. Tons of compliments and they are sturdy in all seasons. Go rubber sole and forget about it.

TSA safe if you have to go thru the metal detector.

AJs were my shoe before I switched to Thursday boots. They always felt a little too tight and never really broke in. So I would do a half size up from your usual.

Kristi Noem approved for those last minute wardrobe needs, too.

Wearing them today now and after doing more than just trying them on, I d say they are just more narrow than I am used to. I have 10 regular. If I order again, I might go with 10 wide depending how these wear in. They re still new so it's hard for me to give concrete advice.

I have the Ecco Helsinki Chelsea boot and I love it.

Bought these short time ago, only have a couple trips in them so still breaking in but no complaints with the comfort and style. Looks like they’re on final sale right now so might not be coming back.

Not really, folks have been working in western boots since before the airplane. They come with a coating on them that can be slick, but if you walk much that comes off in a half mile or so.

I’ve also not had a foot sweat issue, not sure if that’s medical or bad boots?

Personally I find the leather sole great for rudder work.

Also looks wise it beats the salesman/officeboy look of the orthopedic looking shoes I see many wearing

The other benefit is you can have them re soled for not much.
