Let me get this straight, waging a major bombing campaign on a mainline global trade route and backstopping with a naval blockade is somehow chickening out. wat?

blockading a strait that was already closed that was open before the major bombing campaign and now agreeing to iran enrichment of uranium….declaring 48 hours, 10 days, 2 weeks and taco’ing on each deadline. But what do expect from a doctor that wears a robe….

Damn fine rendering though? The guy in the bed kinda favors Paul Newman imo. These are all acts of war by any textbook definition. The kia/wounded tally quite real. If there’s any chicken here, make it me. Full stop. All boats…return to previous duty. CNO

I think he looks more like Epstein than Paul Newman.

Or the next step could be around the corner.

Peace talks and ceasefire is just time being bought.

Kharg invasion before Monday looks realistic from these cheap seats.

Depends on the audience. It might have been intended to convince a certain Shiite theocracy that he is just as bat$hit crazy as they are and they’d best negotiate while they have something left to negotiate with.

I read a recent article that started out by saying the current government of Iran has never won a war but they’ve never lost a negotiation. Historically, there is an element of truth in that. There is a tendency on the part of sociopaths - and sociopathic societies - to believe they are the only sociopaths in existence. Disabusing them of that notion - before negotiating with them - is sometimes helpful.

If so, the artist nailed it spot on. Never a good idea to trade punches with a pope however. Even a former shining path Franciscan friar.

Are you referring to the anti-Shining Path Augustinian Pope?
