Are these the same sources earlier in the year where the Air Current came out with the article about Spirit not making payroll that had everyone in a frenzy? Everyone was saying how Jon Ostower (or whatever his name is) was one of the most reliable sources in aviation news.

Agree, the Air Current are a bunch of jokers. The fact that they post on Bluesky tells you everything you need to know about their mental stability.

Those ferry flights from FLL and DTW seem costly with today’s fuel prices. Couldn’t route those airplanes through LAS first?

That means nothing. It’s not uncommon to see a bunch of Spirit planes parked on the K12 ramp…or occasionally even out on the SW hold pad for overflow. They must do heavy MX there but definitely do engine changes there as it’s not uncommon to see airplanes with one or both engines removed but gone a week later.

yes and if it weren’t for the Japanese help we couldn’t have beaten the soviets in 1944.

You got it, of course, but I am continually amazed how many people misunderstand this reference online.
