There’s a whole generation that’s never seen Blazing Saddles, The Blues Brothers, Animal House, or Caddyshack. What’s this world coming to? Getting old.

Funny. My fo yesterday had never even heard of animal house. I was trying to explain how the end of we’re not going to take it was from the movie when he said never heard of that movie. I just said never mind then.

Man, what is it with kids these days... I've run into a CFI who hasn't even seen The Right Stuff, Airplane, or even the original Top Gun, and he had no idea about Iron Eagle. I thought the kid was pulling my leg.

I think these movies need to be enshrined in the FAR's for issuance of a Student Pilot certificate.

Gen Z has no idea about pretty much any boomer culture.

From the WSJ today: "The lenders behind Spirit’s revolving credit line filed an objection to the reorganization plan last week, saying the proposal doesn’t account for the airline’s sharply higher costs."

To be fair, I was born in the 80s and I haven’t seen many of the classics from the 50s and 60s. It’s relative I guess.
