Career,

How long ago did you apply? I turned in the long application in the middle of Dec and haven't heard back from them yet.

yeah, but I dunno being based is SJU doesn't sound to appealing. I spoke with an XJT F/O that just got hired there, so I wouldn't doubt if they picked up some more regional F/Os in the future. I would def go if I got hired, but would not look forward to the EWR-SJU commute..............

I'm an XJT FO who was hired recently; start class in a couple of weeks and yes I consider myself very lucky. (Especially with the state of uncertainty at XE.)
SJU for new hires for sure but not for long. Only about 25-30 fo's will be based there initially and considering they are hiring 150 plus this year you wont have to stay long.
In addition I spoke with the CP and he emphasized that they are looking for locals to staff SJU and will be recruiting down there.
Do I think I'll see LGA in the near future? Probably not, but the commute to FLL isnt too bad.

SJU sounds much more appealing to me than EWR Saab. To each their own :)

To all whom have interviewed with Spirit in the past few months, just curious how long you waited for an interview and whether or not you had any internal recs... Thanks
