I wouldn't go on my experience. I interviewed 7 years before my class date.

2008 answer: Exactly 1 month between my interview and class start.

Now that DAL is going to 50 per class, the delay is 4-6 weeks, and should continue to get shorter in the next few months.

And, my understanding is that quite a few of those years were spent on furlough. Look at the AE's. The last CA hired (NYC 88) is 6043 or so. After the last 3 AE's, that number has moved up 500 on average in all domiciles. There are newhires in the 6700 range that have been there for a year or less, so they COULD be eligible for CA (NYC 88) in one of the next few AE's, making the time to CA 2-3 years. Look at the numbers.

I think things are slowing down, so I wouldn't use last year's wait to predict this spring/summer wait. FYI, I was offered the job last Oct for a Nov class, but couldn't take it due to military commitment. But that was when they did 4 classes of 12-16 people per week.

From what I've heard from the training dept, there's 2 classes of 12 people in March, and another 2 classes of 12 people in April, then nothing again until September. I'm willing to bet that the classes are filling up pretty quickly.

Good luck,
Riddler

Delta, hands down.

2nd year pay on 767ER is better than what you will see at CAL.

Delta hands down.

Because if you are a fat ass the double breasted jacket will cover it up better.
