Midwest Pilots File Grievance Against Management's Plan to Outsource Jobs

Good luck Midwest pilots. Though I do not think ill of Republic or their pilots it is bad when management is able to bring in another company and start the whipsaw crap. I am not holding my breath that the outcome will benefit pilots, but there is always hoping.

Best of luck to the Midwest guys, we're all pushing for you guys.

That POS Bedford is really showing his "christian" colors. RAH has some really good folks (pilots, f/a's), but their management is no different than the J.O.'s or the Hulas of this industry.

as one of those "cheap sustitute" RAH guys, i wish you good luck in the court room.

this situation is nothing more than a goat rope for all of us.

Good luck, guys.

As a former Skyway guy, and now furloughed from RAH, I hope the best for you guys...even if it means keeping me on the street.

Will not suprise me when NK does something like this as well.....

Good luck but I'm thinking you will need a good lawyer(s) as well. I hope the ruling will set precedence to keep such things from happening on other properties.

while it sucks, all midwest has to do is agree to take the planes and they get everything back albeit at a lower pay rate. (devil's advocate)

will be interesting to see how all this goes down, hope the midwest guys win out....situation sucks.

Unfortunately, that is the whipsaw game management is hoping to capitalize on.

"You can keep flying if you pay us to fly the planes. Otherwise we'll have to furlough you" said management "you know, corporate retreat islands are expensive. The only way we can afford one is for you to agree to our terms."

yep...hopefully the pilots win the grievance. all this makes me wonder how long the airline'll be around anyway. maybe BB did the deal to get the planes generating revenue hoping that midwest will tank so he gets assets and more money? whipsaws suck.

Exactly my point.

Please don't tell me you're defending your management on this deal?!?!?! You might as well be giving the Midwest guys the finger. What the reverend is doing is very unethical, and truly shows that he has no regard for the labor groups. It's not exactly a religious practice to back stab your brother, now is it?

At least Hulas and J.O. don't hide behind the holy book, when they're making their shady deals!
