[quote=Superpilot92;491485]I answered the question you asked....

Actually, you didn't. I asked how many. You speculated that there would be fewer than predicted (I think you are correct) and you offered conjecture and spectulation as to why.

The non speculation information i gave you was that the data wont be available until the end of the month. The rest of it was my opinion. We'll see.

It's always been common knowledge and published numerous places that DCC would occur only a few hours after DOJ approval. I remember reading this over and over again.

You can use that as an excuse if you want, but if I were faced with $2000 per month vs. $150 I wouldn't try to time it down to the day to bail. I kinda think the guys who really were going to leave did so before the DOJ approval and DCC. I doubt Delta went to the trouble to close the deal just to keep pilots froom leaving..

This is all your opinion and nothing more.

I remember reading that it would take at least a few days. Interesting.

That's funny, because I read an article quoting RA that DCC would take a few days after DOJ approval. Something about getting a HUGE stack of paperwork in order. I also remember reading multiple union emails that said 24-72 hours AFTER DOJ approval.

Management saved themselves millions in training costs by doing what they did. They know what they did.

That being said, our non-stop arguing continues to be POINTLESS, as none of us are involved in the negotiating or arbitration. Let's just move on.

I never said it was anything other than my opinion. I wish just as much as the next guy that 1000 NWA guys would retire next week, but if you are living in reality you know it is never going to happen. Also, in my opinion and nothing more, I don't think we will see the majority of them retire at 60 or 62.4.

All our union emails stated that DCC would occur probably at midnight after DOJ approval. More bad info from your MEC again it sounds like.

Or good info to YOUR MEC, and bad info to OUR MEC, thereby saving MILLIONS in training costs. Once again, management knew what they were doing.

Met a NW guy in Hawaii several weeks back who told me DOJ approval would be 1 Nov plus or minus a few days with DCC immediately after. Hard for me to believe anybody making a life decision didn't have this info as well.
