Don't worry Mike, our USAPA reps are looking out for our best interests and promise they would NEVER let that happen.

USAPA is such a farce it's not even funny. I'm out on disability and they won't even help me with some questions on insurance. I've had to call the Chief pilot's office and HR, luckily they've been really helpfull. Shoot, I trust the manangement at US more than I do my own union. Sad, very sad.

You are an America West pilot. Are you paying dues to your own union?

America West is no more. There are east and west US Airways pilots. Even though the vast majority of ex America West pilots did not vote for USAPA we are all USAPA now. It doesn't matter if you are a dues paying member. Unfortunately it is becoming clear that USAPA couldn't care less about anything happening to west pilots(ex America West).

Getting back to the original topic, there are 5 A330s coming in 2009. I got this information from one of the check airman who stays very well informed. And he says they are to be the -200 models. The longer range birds.
