OK.. this did not work out well.

Position swap question.

If a displaced plug, knocks a plug down to the MD88, is there any way to swap and just go to the 88?

If they cancel any portion of this displacement, in what seniority order would they do that?

Any idea when the next AE might be available to fix this one?

Not being short, but call Resources today, it might be worth the phone call. I've seen some interesting things happen in person even after an AE closes. Especially since it'd probably benefit the company because I think you said you were 88 before so you'd be the short course versus a new long course in the 737. I'd guess they'd prefer not to spend the money on 73 training.

ATLMD88>ATL767>ATL73N in < 16 mos.

I think ACL65 ran the gauntlet with no changes.
I feel your pain. Circa 9/11 I had a similar run...

727FO>A320FO>DC9FO>727FE>FURLOUGHED in 17 mos.

They called me Mr. NATCO

I moved down about 43 spots or so and will be on reserve but managed to hang on to NYC 7ERB.
I'm happy :-)

Deltanet, under departments, go to Flight Operations. Under Flight Operations Resources (left hand side), click on Pilot Resources and Scheduling. Under Advance Entitlements / Displacements (top right hand side), it's listed under RESULTS ( 2nd one down ), 16JAN09 BID RESULTS.

Can't be any more simple than that!

Ok, I get how the order works if you have training because of all this. But what if you have no training? Will the company convert those people first because the net cost is zero, or do they have to honor seniority? ie if you are MD from ATL ER to NYC ER should you expect to move rather quickly or will it be after those junior to you have been trained?

Box, I would assume that you would move quickly. They need to get those guys displaced from NYC ER to the 88 quick.

Also I think that AE's go first then the VD's then the MD's. I could be mistaken though.
We will find out next week either way.

I am staying put on the 767. That is good and bad. Bye Bye weekends off!

It appears that the order your name appears on the list is the order in which you are trained with some exception.
