They are picking people that can go now!
Then the contractual list will come out. Plus they can convert starting in Feb!

How do they determine who can go now?

It is probably the same people that would go with this list is published. It just so happens that the conversion list may not be out for a few days and they want to make sure that they abide by the contractual notice for these pilots.

I have CQ coming up soon, maybe I won't need to study afterall... Maybe they'll even let me sit home with pay for couple months this time? probably not...

When do you think the conversion list will come out? sometime this week?

I would assume later this week. But it could be next.

There are guys that get to sit at home with full pay. I would venture to guess that with a 12 month conversion that may not be the case with this one. The only hope is for the guys and gals going to the ER. Maybe they will have a backlog of TOE. It looks like they already have about 232 to do with the ER in CVG so they are starting with a backlog!

beer,

Short answer.......yes.......if it is on your schedule you need to go. That being said call training planning and see if you can get out of it. Your right, it does not make any sense. If you are not in your last month, at least see if they can delay it a month and make it irrelevent. But, bottom line, if it's on your schedule, you need to go. I know it doesn't make any sense, but you will need to get used to that feeling!!!!
