Do not know.

For now I would not worry about it.

Unless CPS gets merged onto our list I wouldn't think anything would happen to you since you are not flying as a DAL pilot. I would think you can do anything you want and then wait for the recall phone call. Arguably better IMO than the "you're hired" phone call. Upon hanging the phone up after recall acceptance, you just plug in some Grateful Dead and think how appropo the words "what a long strange trip its been" are.

If you quit Compass after accepting the flow back, you lose your job @ mainline. Basically quitting Compass is quitting Mainline.

I'll double check the language in the LOA of my DeltaNorth PWA, but that's how I understood the language.

I read the agreement a few weeks ago and I don't think that is correct. From what I read, if you quit Compass it has no effect on your recall status at DL. Now, if you get fired from Compass - different story.

Yeah, that is how I read it also. If you flow-back then to a captain slot then they furlough more guys bumping you down to an FO slot, you could quit Compass and wait for recall to Delta. This is probably what would happen because the FO pay is about what you could make driving a forklift at Sams Club and has worse benefits.

You are CORRECT. I misread it. If you quit Compass, you ONLY lose all rights to the flow down(which I guess means if flowdown happened twice you couldn't flow back a second time), BUT you RETAIN ALL recall rights to mainline.

Here is a question, if you're fired from CPZ while on a flowdown are you fired at DAL? I am near 99% positive thats the way the Coex/CAL flowdown worked because I think that happened and I know one person it was threatened too for flying a bit too slow all of the time. Say like clean speed on a 2-3 hour flight. Commuter nightmare to fly with someone like that.

Forgot to Bid - that's yet another reason why we need one list if we have Delta pilots flowing down. We need the Delta MEC administering issues that involve Delta pilots.

I can't find the NWA letter covering the Compass flowdown to read, but you can lose your job at Delta for getting fired at Compass??? Not that I would plan on getting fired, but I think that a lot of folks from the regionals have seen people get fired for some just so/so things. If thats the case, I'd really have to think about the flowdown harder. A LOT to lose for a temporary job at a regional if you know what I mean.

How about the "few" that could flow down to Mesaba ?
