Boyoboy! If that's not an understatement!

Uh, Hetman, you need a new sarcasm meter. I am ex-RAH, and while I don't agree with Bedford's business plans and frankly can't stand Wayne Heller, I don't think this is the pilot group's fault. Re-read brother, there are many guys there whom I admire greatly. My point was HP believes anyone there who is a lifer is a loser, and if you didn't have enough experience to leave prior to '07-'08 you're a pimply-faced kid.

I love reading posts from guys who say "it will happen!"

FAPA (frontier's pilot union) is in talks right now for a SLI, so no one knows how this will work out. My personal opinion is that this whole things sucks, but it is better to try and knock this SLI out before BB does what we all know he will eventually do.

Will some guys get upset, yes. As much as I don't want to work for a regional again, I feel this might be our time to create a company that will attract guys who will have the possibility to move up from the RJ to an Airbus.

Now, should a 12 yr RAH captain be able to bid a captain airbus spot? No, but he should have the opportunity to move over to the airbus if he chooses and start like the rest of us did. Better work rules, QOL, pay......

I going to take a chill pill and see how this thing plays out, as I think we all should. I am done with the RAH is my enemy mentality.

This has to be the most idiotic statement made. Yeah, I go home everynight and say, "I make more than enough money, I think I will take some concessions on the next contract."

Get real and get a life.

Dude, Lynx is so new the paint on the planes is still wet. The best Lynx could hope for is a DOH. I am sure Frontier will come out pretty good when it comes to an integration.

Has this ever happened before? Has a smaller A/C operator acquired a larger A/C operator?

Is there any precedent?

How much weight will be given to the fact that almost all the Frontier guys flew RJ-level A/C for years before moving to Frontier and the Airbus?

US Airways.

He wants a staple of all RAH FO's since his pay and QOL will not be affected. I think it's a pretty shallow and hypocritical view myself.

The smaller airline in the US/AWA was/is flying 320's, 73's and 75's. The pay was/is within about $10 of the other carrier.

Republic's pay and equipment aren't even close to being in the same ballpark as Midex or Fronteir's.

AWA may have been a bit smaller than USair in total size, but to say that it's a precedent for this RAH mess is laughable.
