aewanabe, I admire your passion. Truly. Just not your venom. While the RAH group is not exempt from the 5% rule, you have no basis to justify the sweeping and all inclusive statements you make such as that above. It detracts from your credibility.

I love reading posts from guys who say "it will happen!"
FAPA (frontier's pilot union) is in talks right now for a SLI, so no one knows how this will work out. My personal opinion is that this whole things sucks, but it is better to try and knock this SLI out before BB does what we all know he will eventually do. Will some guys get upset, yes. As much as I don't want to work for a regional again, I feel this might be our time to create a company that will attract guys who will have the possibility to move up from the RJ to an Airbus. Now, should a 12 yr RAH captain be able to bid a captain airbus spot? No, but he should have the opportunity to move over to the airbus if he chooses and start like the rest of us did. Better work rules, QOL, pay...... I going to take a chill pill and see how this thing plays out, as I think we all should. I am done with the RAH is my enemy mentality. |

Republic is being chosen because Republic pilots make so little. It seems you guys are proud of that fact. Then you act surprised when the remaining Midwest pilots have nothing good to say about your pilot group.

I'm curious as to why you think the Frontier pilots should be merged percentile and the Lynx pilots should be stapled. The Lynx pay is closer to Republics than Frontier's. If anything thing the Frontier pilots should be stapled at the top and the Lynx pilots merged in a percentile fashion.

Has this ever happened before? Has a smaller A/C operator acquired a larger A/C operator?
Is there any precedent? How much weight will be given to the fact that almost all the Frontier guys flew RJ-level A/C for years before moving to Frontier and the Airbus? |

So, you want DOH at RAH even though our contract clearly states that's not how it would go down? Aye aye aye. Unbelievable.

US Airways.
Republic's pay and equipment aren't even close to being in the same ballpark as Midex or Fronteir's. AWA may have been a bit smaller than USair in total size, but to say that it's a precedent for this RAH mess is laughable. |
