Early on the two airmen admitted to losing situational awareness thus admitting numerous violations of their company SOPs which is a direct violation of FARs. I don't think that there was character assinations going on, but rather pointing out that these two went far beyond messing up.

In your opinion, how did they support the cause of the responsible airline pilot as it relates to our cause for a respectable wage, benefit and working conditions?

A local news station is airing the footage of CNN's interview with said Pilot; it's unfortunate that they are portraying the Interviewee in such a negative fashion. I see why they have to skew certain stories, (obviously for more publicity), but this is quite ridiculous.

Joe, you're the only one on here constantly bring up the regional/major comparison.

Just drop it.

I'll drop it as soon as we as a profession stop the silly double standard of mainline vs. regional...I'll drop it as soon as we start treating each other as equals....I didn't hear any of you saying the same when it was the regionals under the gun...In fact, y'all rather enjoyed the bad publicity the regionals were getting...

I work at one.

I think you have some real, legitimate personality disorder of some kind for repeatedly posting the same things that start fights but I will leave it at that.

You are dragging old stuff into new topics and it is beyond lame.

Mod Note:

Thread closed. Flamebait and thread drift as far as a U2 flies. If any of you have anything cogent to say about NWA 188, particularly now that the NTSB has released some findings, you may do so in the other still open thread.
