The ones that made the mistake were the ones who drank the kool aid that ALPA National was selling and continued to strike long after the bankruptcy judge abrogated the contract. They were not simply left on the picket lines, they chose to remain there. The strike was effectively over in March of '84 when the judge rulled against ALPA. The mistakes were made by ALPA because thet were too emotionally obsessed with getting Frank.
OK for arguments sake lets say your above post is 100% correct. What do you think of the scum I mean Scabs that crossed in 83?

I don't think about and to this day I could care less about the reason's why individuals decided to cross or not cross ALPA's picket line. They held no influence or sway over me and I had no control over their actions. They did what they had to do so I assesed the situation, came to my own conclusions and acted accordingly. I am puzzled by the fact that many of those who crossed either now hold or have held elected as well as non-elected positions with the Union. But I guess that is the nature of second handers, both pro-union and non-union. They don't ask: Is this true? They're only concern is what others think is true. They don't bother with any rational process of judging, they simply regurgitate received opinon and catchy slogans. They choose to believe rather than think, to submit rather than understand. And then, for some, when confronted with logic and reason their only rebutal is to show their ignorance and intellectual bankruptcy by leveling vitriolic broadsides at those who question their beliefs and motives.

My apologies to those who care about the continued hyjack of this thread, but it was pretty much finished with the news that the drunk threw away his career.
